MEG WOLFE: NEW FAITHFUL DISCO
The world premiere of Meg Wolfe’s lush physical movement work, NEW
FAITHFUL DISCO, will take place on January 28, 2016 at 8 pm. The venue
is Redcat (in Disney Hall), 631 West 2nd St. Call the box office at 213-237-2800.
Choreographer Meg Wolfe has been called “a postmodern jokester with
a sly sense of humor.” Her latest offering features a “queer-love
power-trio of dancers–(including Wolfe herself)--whose communal energy
is propelled by native sounds and disco rhythms. They feel the energy,
generate it and remix it as they prepare to take on something big.”
