JACOB JONAS THE COMPANY
After a sold-out run last year, JACOB JONAS THE COMPANY returns to the
Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on May 10-11 with the
world premiere of a new work choreographed by the company's dynamic leader,
Jacob Jonas.

The recital, which marks the culmination of The Company's year-long residency at The Wallis, was made possible by a generous grant from Jennifer and Steven Walske. It will feature The Company's usual mixture of contemporary ballet, break-dance and acrobatic movement. In the past, The Company has also incorporated visceral story-telling and cutting-edge reality into its performances, including #CamerasandDancers visual arts movement featuring monthly location-specific Instameets.

The Company has also partnered with such leading organizations as The
Metropolitan Museum of Art, J. Paul Getty Museum, Seattle Public Library,
New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and The Royal Ballet.
It has also mounted the acclaimed "To the Sea Festivals" on
the Santa Monica Pier.
JACOB JONAS THE COMPANY was named one of the "12 standout companies
of 2018" by the Los Angeles Times and "25 to Watch" by
Dance Magazine in 2018.
