BALLET HISPANICO/BODYTRAFFIC
The Wallis Annenberg Center will mount recitals by two illustrious dance
companies in October.
The first is the debut of BALLET HISPANICO at The Wallis, in celebration
of the company’s 50th anniversary. Performances are Oct. 7-8 in the
Bram Goldsmith Theater.

Ballet Hispanico explores the diversity of Latinx culture and brings innovative ways of exploring and sharing a cultural dialogue.
“Both earthy and classically elegant” (the New York Times), the nation’s largest Latinx dance organization is considered one of America’s cultural treasures.
On Oct. 21-22 The Wallis will present a program by BODYTRAFFIC, the contemporary dance company led by artistic director Tina Finkelstein. The program will include a world premiere by Michael Taylor, the company’s first-ever artist in residence.
