The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts recently unveiled an array of theater, dance, music, film, cabaret and conversation programming for its 2022-23 season.

Headlining the new season as Company-in-Residence is “Sing for Hope” and its founders, sopranos Camille Zamora and Monica Yunus, as artists-in-residence.

Other important names coming to The Wallis include Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and Bradley Bredeweg. The latter’s “Invincible-–The Musical,” a re-imagined 21st-century Romeo and Juliet, will have its world premiere, Nov. 17-Dec. 17, 2022.

The L.A. premiere of “Wuthering Heights” will take place in January, 2023. Based on the novel by Emily Bronte, adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the play is a co-production of the National Theatre in association with Berkeley Repertory Theater.

Additional artists whose work will be featured next season include Sheldon Epps, Xiang ‘Sean’ Gao, Kwame Alexander, Isaac Mizrahi, Ballet Hispanico, Pacifica Quartet and L.A. Chamber Orchestra, among many others.

The signature Sorting Room series and free monthly outdoor Sunday Funday events will also return. The Wallis’ partnership with Writers Bloc, ASCAP and Film Independent has been renewed as well.
