CHAMBER MUSIC IN HISTORIC SITES

LOS ANGELES -- The Da Camera Society of Mount St. Mary's College has announced the latest season of its "Chamber Music in Historic Sites" series. First on tap in 2007/08 is the Osiris Piano Trio, who will perform on Oct. 27 at The Doheny Mansion. Six more concerts in the Doheny Soirees are scheduled monthly through April 2008, with such groups as Berlin Piano Quartet and Formosa String Quartet featured.

As part of the Moveable Music Feast series, various artists like Adam del Monte, Marysol Fuentes, Andrew Manze, Richard Egart and Joshua Smith will be heard. Venues include the La Senora Research Institute in Santa Monica, Hollywood United Methodist Church, Rogers House and Pratt House (in Sierra Madre).

These southland architectural treasures form the setting for intimate concerts presented by chamber groups, jazz trios and flamenco artists. Many concerts offer the chance to meet the performers and, in some cases, the architects.
