MUSIC GUILD’S SUMMER FEST 16

LOS ANGELES – The Music Guild has announced the schedule for its Summer Fest 16 chamber-music series.

Piano Trio Celeste will perform works by Haydn, Beethoven and Dvorak on Sunday July 24, followed by Pasadena String Quartet on July 31 (Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Dvorak).
On Sunday August 7 the Neave Piano Trio will be featured (Haydn, Piazolla, Dvorak).
Two weeks later (Aug. 21) Telegraph String Quartet will present works by Haydn, Britten and Beethoven. The final Summer Fest 16 concert will be on Sunday Aug. 28, when The Lyris Quartet investigates music by Schubert, Britten and Beethoven.

All events will take place at 3 pm at University Synagogue, 11960 Sunset Blvd (at Saltair). Complimentary coffee, cookies, Brie and Jarlsberg cheese, veggies, strawberries and whipped cream will be served 2.30-3 pm, and also at intermission.
