THE STIGMATIZED/TWILIGHT OF THE GODS

Los Angeles Opera will mount two major works in April as part of its 2009/10 season. TWILIGHT OF THE GODS (Gotterdammerung) comes first (April 3-25), with James Conlon conducting Richard Wagner's immortal opera, which will be directed and designed by Achim and Amanda Freyer. Part of LA Opera's ongoing (and complete) Ring Cycle, TWILIGHT OF THE GODS will feature such singers as Halfvarson, Held, DeYoung and Citro.

THE STIGMATIZED by Franz Schreker follows, April 10-24, with Conlon again directing an all-star cast that includes Tambosi, Harrington, Brubaker, Kampe and Schone. For tickets and information call 213-972-8001 or visit laopera.com.
