for January/February 2021 LOS ANGELES NEWS LOS ANGELES OPERA ANNOUNCES NEW PANDEMIC-RELATED CHANGES L.A. Opera announced recently that it is postponing, re-imagining or cancelling all current scheduled in-person programming for the remainder of the 2020/21 season due to concern for artist & patron safety regarding Covid-19. News regarding the development has re-inspired confidence in the companys ability to return to normal production, which will be a combination of rescheduled and new programming. The 2021/22
season will feature five mainstage productions (Il Trovatore,
Tannhauser, Cinderella, St. Matthew Passion
and Aida), three concerts (Calcina, The
Brightness of Light and a Javier Camarena recital), and two Off-Grand
events (Get Out in Concert and In Our Daughters
Eyes) for a total of 41 performances between Sept. 18, 2021 and
June 18, 2022. |
