As part of its mission to promote chamber music for future generations, the Guild has put out another request for donated stringed instruments which will then be provided to inner-city school youngsters wishing to study music. Previous significant donations have included a Hallet, Davis & Co piano and a rare violin whose sale enabled the Guild to buy nearly five thousand dollars' worth of violins for needy students.

All gifts are appraised by the Hans Weisshar Co. and are tax-deductible. Contact Pam Eddy, assistant to Eugene Golden, Executive/Artistic Director, at the above address.
