ANATTA/ FADING IN 3/4: DANCE AND VIDEO

LOS ANGELES -- Avant-garde new music and noise art meets butoh and traditional Thai dance in a program of new works, Sept. 26 & 27 at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica. Four acclaimed composers and dancers--including Michael Sakamoto, Waewdao Sirisook, Bob Bellerue and Amy Knoles--join forces for a unique exploration of Buddhist principles and practices filtered through contemporary performance.
    

     
A week later (Oct.3 & 4) the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema will take place at Highways. The multimedia show will feature a diverse variety of film, video and performance possibilities from a host of local and international artists.
