Wuppertal, the company founded by the late Pina Bausch, will present one
of her last works, SWEET MAMBO, at the Edinburgh Playhouse, August 23-25
at 7.30 pm.

SWEET MAMBO explores the relationship between men and women--seduction, happiness and misery, physical and mental fragility--in Pina Bausch's inimitable style. In each life-affirming scene dancers tell stories, flirt, fight, decry, seduce and abandon each other. The visual collages balance on the knife-edge between reality and surrealism.
