L.A. DANCE PROJECT

L.A. DANCE PROJECT, a recital by Benjamin Millepied’s company of the same name, will be performed November 2-4 at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

L.A. Dance Project, which has become The Wallis’ first company-in-residence, will perform four works at this recital: “MinEvent” by Merce Cunningham, “Closer,” “Orpheus Highway” and “In Silence We Speak,” all choreographed by Millepied. There will be post-show talkbacks at select performances.

“I am thrilled to find a new home in Los Angeles at The Wallis, one of the most exciting new performance arts centers. This is a wonderful opportunity for L.A. Dance Project to extend its reach to a larger community and continue its path towards becoming a major dance company in America,” said Millepied.

L.A. Dance Projects will also offer another program in April, 2018 as part of its residency at The Wallis.

On November 12 from 12-2pm three-time Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen will return to The Wallis with her wildly popular DANCE SUNDAYS WITH DEBBIE ALLEN & FRIENDS series. This exhilarating series of dance events–Salsa, African, Tap, Hip-Hop and more–for the entire family is offered free of charge.
