L.A. MASTER CHORALE RETURNS

L.A. Master Chorale will return to Walt Disney Concert Hall in September following the venue’s closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company’s 2021-22 season will kick off Sept. 25-26 with “Invitation,” a program featuring works by LA-based composers Nilo Alcala and Shawn Kirchner. Also featured are “Together at Last” by Esmail and Morten Laurindsen’s rendition of “Sure on this Shining Night.” On Sept. 25, teachers are invited to attend free, and on Sept. 26 all subscribers will receive a free ticket.

“We are overjoyed to return to Walt Disney Concert Hall and once again unite our singers and audience for a season that celebrates the breathtakingly full range of choral music,” said artistic director Grant Gershon. “Throughout the pandemic, we continued to collaborate with today’s top composers for our digital presentations, This season we are thrilled to feature works by more composers, representing more backgrounds, traditions and artistic visions than ever before in our history.”
