MUSIC CENTER STREAMS ALVIN AILEY
Thanks to the Music Center and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, dance lovers
will be able to get a closer look into “Revelations,” an iconic
work from AADT. A special Music Center virtual presentation in September
features an introduction by Associate Artistic Director Matthew Rushing
followed by a performance of the piece.

This will be followed by performances of “I Been ‘Buked,” “Wade in the Water” and the finale, “Rock My Soul in the Bosom of Abraham.” Dancer and choreographer Hope Boykin will break down all the moves, giving viewers a chance to learn about modern dance from the inside.
